Goober Digital

Website Design
Terms.

These terms explain what is included in Goober Digital’s $500 one-time website service and what both sides can expect during a project.

Effective September 21, 2026

01

Project fee

The website project fee is $500 USD, paid one time. Work begins after payment is received unless Goober Digital and the client agree otherwise in writing.

02

What’s included

Goober Digital will design and build a website based on the agreed project scope, the client’s business information, branding, content, and requested features. The site will be designed for modern desktop and mobile use and prepared for launch.

03

Revisions and scope

Reasonable revisions that stay within the agreed project direction are included during the design process. Major additions, new pages, significant redesigns, custom integrations, or other work outside the original scope may require a separate quote and approval before that additional work begins.

04

Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate business information, services, pricing, hours, contact details, logos, photographs, and other content needed for the website. The client confirms that they have the right or permission to use any materials they provide.

05

Timing

Goober Digital will make reasonable efforts to complete the project promptly. Timelines may change if the client delays providing content, feedback, approvals, account access, or other information needed to complete the site.

06

Domain and third-party costs

The $500 project fee covers the agreed website design and setup. Domain registration or renewal, paid software, premium services, third-party subscriptions, and other outside costs are separate unless they are specifically included in writing. Whenever practical, the client should own their domain and important business accounts.

07

Review and launch

The client will have an opportunity to review the website and request final reasonable corrections before launch. Once the client approves the site, Goober Digital may publish it or connect it to the client’s domain as agreed.

08

Cancellations and refunds

Because website design is custom work, payments are generally non-refundable once substantial design or development work has begun. If a project is canceled before substantial work begins, any refund will be determined based on the work already completed and any non-refundable costs already incurred.

09

Ownership and handoff

After the agreed project fee has been paid in full, the client may use the completed website for their business. Goober Digital retains rights to its own reusable tools, techniques, templates, code components, and design methods that were not created exclusively for the client. Any third-party assets remain subject to their own licenses and terms.

10

Portfolio use

Unless the client asks otherwise in writing, Goober Digital may display the completed website, screenshots, and the client’s business name in its portfolio and marketing materials as an example of its work.

11

Third-party services and results

Goober Digital is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, fees, or technical problems caused by third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting providers, payment processors, social platforms, or other outside providers. A website can support a business’s online presence, but Goober Digital does not guarantee specific sales, leads, traffic, search rankings, or other business results.

12

Acceptance

By paying the $500 website fee, signing a project agreement, or otherwise expressly accepting these terms during checkout, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and to the project scope agreed with Goober Digital.
